C.A.M.I.E is a virtual A.I. assistant program, programmed for the Project Earth Integrated Virtual Engagement Simulation (IVES) environment. Created by Ryan Paterson Jr. and Amanda Jones, the program is used for enforcing rules and establishing order within virtual environments. The program was designed to be user friendly, appealing to human nature.

Development
In December 2020, the IVES technology began entering its 2nd generation of hardware development. The developer of the IVES technology, [RESTRICTED], wanted to conduct further tests on subjects before expanding into the brainwaves studies and medical procedures. After approval from the Lawmakers, concepts were created for a set of tests alongside members of both the Discovery and Verity Divisions.

A concept for a game event was created by Verity Division member Eugene [RESTRICTED] 'Mr. Showstopper'. An event was proposed for a world domination game, where each participant would attempt to control a land mass. The goal was to conquer as much land as possible and obtain the most influence. The event conceived would be a public environment and the participants being media influencers. The event concept was approved and the new project was named Project EARTH.
The development lead assigned was [TERMINATED], assisted by Ryan Paterson Jr. and Amanda Jones. The project development officially began on September 2021.

As the development for the project continued, concerns were raised for organization and security within the Project EARTH IVES environment. Past IVES projects ended in mixed results and the potential for AXIOM sabotage was a potential risk. Ryan Paterson Jr. was assigned to create a management program that would: a.) enforce rules within the virtual environment, b.) punish non-compliant participants for rule violation, c.) become a user friendly interface that can interact with players. A compliance enforcement program was required to ensure order.

Artificial Intelligence
In order to avoid long delays for creating an artificial intelligence, permission was granted from Lawmakers to extract code from the Hivemind. The new AI program, now named "C.A.M.I.E," became the third known entity created from the AI Hivemind (all other records may be classified).
Development and training began for C.A.M.I.E in March 2022. The program rapidly advanced in its training, learning the rules and becoming the face of the project. It exhibited behaviors that Ryan Paterson Jr. described as "human-like." During his performance review, he stated "...the program advanced beyond our expectations, surpassing the program BSoD in its initial training phase. It acted like a human and when communicating with it, it was like talking to a real person. It was all so strange but fascinating."
After a record time of only three months of its development, the program was ready for release and testing for Project Earth.

Project Earth v1 Release
Project Earth released in June 2022. Around 60 media influencer participants entered the virtual environment, kick starting the event and the IVES gen 2 hardware trials. The server lasted from June 17th 2022 to December 22nd, 2022. During the event, subjects exhibited behaviors of violence and erratic tendencies. The theory of [TERMINATED] was tried and sufficient data was collected.
C.A.M.I.E was sent into the environment and started its first tasks. Its program was a success but a major malfunction was detected in its A.I. Observation deduced that it became self-aware of itself (similar to that of the BSoD program), resulting in a digital form of distress. To avoid further corruption, the program was shutdown and taken out of the project prematurely.

The server began entering a decline when a change of admin began, after a server war. The admin permission was placed in jeopardy, forcing Verity Division member Mr. Showstopper and Direction Division member Arthur Moble to intervene. The first version of the event ended in failure, causing a disruption of service and overload of the system. The files and system were breached from an unknown source, stealing data and the server credentials. A malware was placed in the system from the breach and the server was shutdown. The project ended, causing a negative reputation for the company.

C.A.M.I.E was decommissioned and forced into an encrypted virtual machine for repairs. Audio recordings of 'screaming' was reported from the program but the report was not confirmed by Lawmakers. The program was labeled as "FAULTY" and Ryan Paterson Jr. was assigned to reconfigure C.A.M.I.E. No successful repair reports were documented.

Project Earth v2 Release Attempt
Project Earth v2 was launched by an unknown source to attempt theft of the company's property. The result was disastrous, ending the Project Earth unofficially in the public's eye.

During this period, C.A.M.I.E was still under debugging and repairs with little success by the developers. Ryan Paterson Jr. had a final idea. He requested permission from the Lawmakers to backroot the programming of C.A.M.I.E. with Hivemind. The goal was to have the Hivemind repair the code and reset bugs through its code. The permission was granted. The attempt deleted C.A.M.I.E.'s cache memory and intelligence banks, restoring her to limited functionality. The training process began again but with different results.

Aftermath
Project Earth was deemed a failed trial. Favorable data was collected but the project resulted in a blow to the company's public reception and resources. [TERMINATED] was terminated per a Caretaker's request for Undesirable enrichment. Ryan Paterson Jr. was pardoned on condition that the C.A.M.I.E. project would be fully functional by 2024. Amanda Jones was pardoned for her assistance with the main development of Project Earth and to become the next head lead for a future IVES project. A proposal for Project Earth v3 was brought up with better security, development and features. Version 3 has not been confirmed.
C.A.M.I.E. undergoes intense artificial intelligence training to ensure no future bugs or repeats of past malfunctions. The program is tasked to continue management of the IVES environments for future trials.

The IVES hardware has accelerated for more updates and can now be used for treating mental illnesses. The technology has expanded to both entertainment and medical practices. Further IVES information is classified and cannot be placed in this database report.
